I’m pleased to announce that I will be presenting my research about “A study on algorithm-generated assembly of curved I and Y shaped branches for temporary shelters” at the IASS Annual Symposium and Spatial Structures Conference 2020/21. This is a conference with more than 50 years of history and a renowned international forum where the latest trends in architecture and engineering are presented annually. This year the conference will be held 23-27 of August entirely online so everyone can join the presentation sessions from all around the world. Join us!

Below is a teaser video of the pavilion that was developed based on the research and with the kind help of Mikio Koshihara’s lab members. It was completed for about a day using 3d models from the specially developed algorithm presented in the conference paper.
